I am the secretary of the New Wensley Cemetery Association in Leggett, Texas. I am a native of Leggett, Texas and is active in the community. I have served as secretary since 1998. Our goal is to upkeep and beautify the cemetery. Our goal is accomplished by having a cemetery homecoming each year, which is the 4th Sunday in June. This is the 54th year for this joyous occasion. Over the past three years we have made tremendous progress in beautifing New Wensley. We are continuing to strive to maintain the upkeep and beautification of the cemetery. With this great website, we hope that we will be able to make contact with other family members of forgotten loved ones that are resting at the New Wensley Cemetery in Leggett, Texas.
