I have always been interested in genealogy and ancestry. I love walking through cemeteries, so much history. Recently I started a project with the American Legion that my husband is the SAL commander at to help with flag placement for Memorial Day. My project was to get the plots marked on a map of some sort in order to make the flag placement process more efficient. While trying to find maps and plot information for the cemeteries in our area, I literally fell into this site and immediately knew I had to be a part of it. I think it is an honor to remember those that came before us. And I like to think that when I am thinking of them they somehow know it.
