Bio

I'm a retired librarian and have been doing genealogy for over 20 years ... off and on. My job in a public library introduced me to a lot of genealogists (one in particular) who encouraged and tutored me.
Find-A-Grave is an amazing opportunity for volunteers to share their research, and their family stories. As most of them, mine is a patchwork quilt - still being stitched.
I enjoy reading :) ... a game of bridge (the party variety) ... and volunteer / mission work through my church. Oh, and travel when the opportunity presents itself. Loved England and Scotland when my wife and I got to go several years ago. She was born in London to an American GI and an amazing British lady whose motto is "chin up - chest out" and has lived it every day of her life!
