PLEASE use the edit tab to Suggest A Correction! I no longer make out-of-guidelines transfers. As always, I am more than willing to make links and replace my bio with a better one. I do not link to dupes, nor to burials unknown.
This is my way of honouring the dead who might otherwise be forgotten. It's always a thrill to be contacted by researchers who appreciate finding their missing family members. Where possible plot information is included to help family and friends locate their loved one. Marker or monument photos show what the grave looks like today, especially helpful for those people who are unable to visit in person. Sadly, sometimes the photos document vandalism.
Now that Ancestry allows copying of photos from Find A Grave to Ancestry trees, I can no longer object to cross-posting between the two sites. You may NOT copy and paste the photo or content to any other site. This includes screenshots.
Due to my photos and bios being lifted and posted to other websites without permission and/or attribution, I have been forced to add a copyright notice to all of my photos. I may have missed a few, but consider them all copyrighted. When I find them on other sites, I absolutely do file a take-down notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
The Royal BC Museum has posted many BC Archives BMD certificates online. Familysearch.org has ***used to have*** BMD certificates. If the one you need is not on a website, I am willing to check the microfilms at the Nelson Municipal Library for you, although it might take some time for me to get there.
