I have been researching my roots for over 15 years. I inherited this calling from my Grandfather, who spent most of his retirement researching the Towner family. My wife and I have become more active since we recently retired ourselves. We have made several road trips to visit cemeteries and courthouses in Maine, Vermont, NH, CT and West Virginia. Some of the family names we are looking into are: Towner, Mills, Morrell(Morrill), Harding(Hardin), Mutton, Sullivan, Twohig, Hurley and Perrault.
