I was born and raised in Curwensville Pennsylvania. I grew up knowing my many relatives who lived in the DuBois area, and my mother never passed up an opportunity to tell me of our family's history. My mother, Mary Hoyt Davis, and her three siblings, Emmett, Theodore, and Margaret, were all born on their father's farm in Sabula.
