I was fortunate enough to have a distant relative pass on to me two generations work of family genealogy information. This has given me a new interest in the subject and I enjoy researching and searching. This is but one of many things that takes up my time and energy.
I have enjoyed this immensely, and I'm slowly visiting cemetery's of my ancestors documenting, reinforcing and adding information to my records.
I try to fulfill photo requests in my travels, and post others not requested.
My bio photo is the soldiers lot memorial enacted by congress in 1884 at the Lakeside Cemetery in Pt. Huron, Michigan. It is one of the most stunning memorials/statues I have seen.
A sad fact but true, that cemetery's are some of the richest places for knowledge and experience, passed on.
