Hi fellow gravers. Just a few thoughts:
EDITS - Really appreciate edits. If you have any corrections, links or additions, let me know through the "edit" tab which is on the top right of the memorial page. I try to be perfect, but so far....:o(
PHOTOS - Please feel free to use any of my cemetery or headstone photos for whatever purpose. No need to credit me.
To add an internal link within a biography, you would need to type a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX"Name /a
TRANSFERRING MANAGEMENT - To be fair to all, I follow Find-A-Grave's guidelines.
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."
Just use the "edit" tab and let me know how you are related and your FAG contributor number.
FAMILY SEARCH - I am looking for parents and/or siblings of Austin Goodwin Broton [aka Broughton, Brotton, Button, Brayton] (1856-1946). He's my great grandfather and a bit of a mystery. His mother may have been a Goodwin, born in Scotland and died in New York about 1870...we think. His father's first name may have been Bernard.
HAVE FUN - Such a great site for researching family. It can be the best treasure hunt ever. It's made me cry, laugh and a few times, swear!
