I have recently begun researching my family tree. My 12 year old son has a family heritage project due soon, and that's what prompted me to get started. I have been procrastinating for some time, so this was the nudge I needed!

I am married to a wonderful guy and also have a 10 year old daughter. I'm a stay-at-home mom, but I volunteer a good bit at the schools and our church (First Methodist). I stay extra busy in the summer with a rather large vegetable garden. I have been canning green beans and pickles since 2005. It is hard work, but I love eating vegetables that I have grown!
