For all those wanting photo...be patient. First, Custer county is a very big county, second...it's the middle of winter and I drive an old VW bug that doesn't have very good heat.
IF, I happen to be checking out a family member I will try and take other pictures while I am there. For those who wanted pictures in the Coffman cemetery...I'm a relative, so I will be in that cemetery, some day. I added a lot of pictures my first day...because they were MY family, the Pierce family. I finally found the link to remove myself from taking pictures, but if in a cemetery I will be happy to take pictures, but for now will not be listed as a volunteer.
I have been doing the family history on and off for some 25 years and traveled from coast to coast gathering info and visiting relatives. I no longer tell relatives I'm coming as they all of a sudden go on vacation:):) When I contact family...all I want is family history, I can talk about family history all day long.
Like most in my family I hit a road block to when my family came to the US in the early 1600's...meaning I have had little success going further back than the first arrivals.
