I remember when I was little, going to cemeteries on Memorial Day, and cleaning and touching the headstones and feeling a connection even to those who had long passed. When my great-grandmother passed away, she gave me pictures of her mother, and it boggled my mind that this image conveys the expression of someone I will never meet, yet somehow know...because they are a part of me. I look to them for strength, and I know I will do great things on my ancestors' sacrifices... I feel it is my charge to honor their memory and help anyone the best I can. Since starting this hobby, I have met SO many people from all walks of life that share common blood with me and I feel blessed to know them.
Please, if you wish me to correct information or remove memorials or transfer memorials, please send me an email. I know we have the messaging system, but unfortunately it does not always give me an avenue to respond. Thanks in advance for your help.
