I have been researching my family lines since about 2001. Almost all (close to 8,000 ancestors) are from Maryland's lower Eastern Shore counties of Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset. Others are from the lower counties of Delaware and Accomack Co., VA . One line of ancestors are from Jefferson and Berkeley Counties, West Virginia (old Virginia).

My cemetery and headstone photos are marked with the following: ©Tim McCabe - All Rights Reserved. However, any Find A Grave or Ancestry user is welcome to use my photos for their personal genealogical work and in their tree(s) on Ancestry.com as long as proper attribution to me is provided. NO other use is authorized.

I specifically do not authorize PeopleLegacy.com nor PeopleLegacy, INC. to use any photograph made by me whether it has a copyright notice attached to it or not.

If we share ancestors, I am happy to respond to requests for information and, under certain circumstances, I will agree to transfer management of a memorial. But I will maintain management if, you are not related to the ancestor; and/or you are not related to the ancestor more closely than I am. I think that's fair and hope those who make requests will agree. All of the memorials I create are for my family only and I don't engage in database memorial creation.

I am particularly interested in the following families, most of which are lower Maryland's Eastern Shore: Tilghman/Tillmon, Goldsborough, Miles, Beauchamp, Roach, Barnes, Adams/Addams, Ellicott, Fooks, Waggeman, Adkins, Holloway, Hearne/Hearn, Poe, Wier, Ellicott, Hooper, Steele, Parsons, Adkins, Attkinson, Dykes/Dikes, Freeney, Colbourn/Colbourne, Brittingham, Revell, Maynadier, Pitt and Nevett/Nevitt. In West Virginia/Virginia: Glen/Glenn, Bell/Beall, Burns, Southwood, Van Metre/Van Meter

Many thanks to everyone who creates a memorial! We are all enriched by the histories of our families and Find A Grave is a valuable service that helps provide this opportunity.
