I am the daughter of Frederick Clifton Collins and Mamie Ernestine Kallam. I was born in Winston-Salem, NC on October 24, 1953. Frederick Clifton Collins lived in Winston-Salem at that time and worked for McLean Trucking as a truck driver. Frederick did not marry my mother after she told him she was pregnant. Frederick chose not to be a part of our lives. My mother provided me info about Frederick when I was 35-years old. At the age of 56, I met my paternal 1st and 2nd cousins from the Collins (dna is Jameson family) on, Randy Frederick Collins and Richard Collins, brothers, (their father, Richard Grayson Collins, was my father's brother). I am eternally grateful they welcomed me into their lives and shared so much about my father and the Collins/Jameson family. I know God's hands are in the miracle of me locating the Collins side of my family.

In 2018, I met my half-sister, Virginia Charleyne Collins, born to Frederick Clifton Collins and Betty Jo Brewer, Parks, Collins, Gourley. My niece, Jessica Collins located me via and I informed Jessica her mother was my half-sister. The rest is history and I am so thankful we share DNA and now have my long-lost sister and niece in my life.

I am not bitter towards my father, Frederick. But, nothing will ever fill the void in my life Frederick left by not being a father to me and being a part of my life.

I am eternally grateful that God is my Heavenly Father. God gives me strength to face each new day.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
