Bio

I am the Greatgrandson of Samuel O'Neill (1859-1935).
I am currently living in Vienna, Austria and will take photo requests for within the 23 Districts of Vienna.
I suggest that before you post a request that you search here first:

http://www.friedhoefewien.at/eportal/ep/home.do?tabId=0

If the grave is still in the directory, chances are that I will find it, if the "Grabnutzungsrecht bis" is a date in RED, chances are the grave has been removed.
I have relations whoes graves have been removed, because of financial difficulties of living family members who where alive at the time that payment was required.

Where I live, you have to buy a plot, and then pay rent (usually every 10 years). If you miss that payment once, they remove the grave.
Jewish graves are allowed to remain forever, but most older jewish sections are in disrepair, overgrown and without a family member to take care of them. Stones were also destroyed by National Sozialists in the 30s and 40s. Some are just too weather-worn to read anymore.

Just something to keep in mind, if you make a request and recieve no results.
