I am a retired superintendent of schools and became interested in the Civil War when I learned of the letters sent home by my great, great Uncle Henry W. Brown, from East Thompson, CT. I attended Natick High School, Northeastern University and my graduate work was completed at the University of Connecticut.
I have been married for over fifty years and have 2 children and four grandchildren.
