My gr-gr-grandfather, Alexander Rigdon Lee, was a soldier in the Civil War and present at the surrender of General Robert E. Lee at Appomattox Court House. His father, Edward Lee, was in the War of 1812 and Edward's father, John Lee, was in the Revolution. That's where the line stalls. John's parents and siblings remain a mystery.
