I have been interested in, and collecting, family history since I was child. Most of my great great grandparents came to Oceola and Deerfield Townships in Livingston County, MI in the 1830's to the 1850's and stayed there. They came from New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Maine. Many were pioneers in western New York for a while before moving on to Michigan.
As a child we spent a lot of time visiting local cemeteries. We were there to tend relatives' markers, but the cemeteries were filled with lots of other ancestors. I always found it fascinating.
Now, I'm really enjoying finding out about and documenting who all those ancestors were. Along the way I have met so many wonderful and generous people who have shared their stories and their quest.
I am currently assisting the Bull Family Association by collecting information on descendants of William Eager and Ann Bull. Please contact me if you are related to them.
