In the mid 1980s, with my mother ailing, we gathered up all of her scattered notes and began to organize them. Now, 35 years later, I am still adding to her notes and always feel her presence when I am in our family tree.
I belong to the Descendants of the Mayflower and Daughters of the American Revolution. This is a great way to have lineage documented in a place greater than my book cabinet!
It certainly has been my privilege to have interacted with so many wonderful genealogists and discover new relatives over the years.
