I have served as the Fort Plank Historian since 1984. I am also the author of "The Bloodied Mohawk: The Revolutionary War in the Words of Fort Plank's Defenders and Other Mohawk Valley Partisans". I own and operate a free web-site posting biographical and historical data on the Colonial Period in the Mohawk Valley of New York. In civilian life I work as a Registered Nurse and as a Mobile Intensive Care Technician. I served four years on active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard, being honorably discharged with the rank of Machinery Technician Second Class (E-5). I reside about one mile south of the site of Fort Plank in the Village of Fort Plain, New York. I hold a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Friend's University of Wichita, Kansas, as well as several Associate level degrees.
