Find A Grave ID

History, archaeology and genealogy buff. Happy to take photo requests in my area.

Also always willing to turn over memorial management to relatives if you'd like to manage them. NOTE: When making requests for edits or transfer, please use the SAC (suggest a correction) method from the edit tab on the memorial page.

My main purpose here is to document old & historic graves before they are lost (with the related benefit to genealogists).

To that end, I believe it's very important to make every effort to add the complete stone inscription on Find-A-Grave memorials, along with photos. Even if you can't read it all, put (-?-) where you can't make out a word, and add the rest. A stone can be lost overnight, in one storm, a single act of vandalism or even by commercial development. Please document them thoroughly - while we still can.

Regarding my photos: I do not mind if anyone uses my photos at all. Feel free to use them here, on Ancestry, or anywhere you may want to. I do not need credit given for them, either; I take them simply because I am able to, and anyone who may want them is welcome to use them.
