Find A Grave ID

[May 2018 Medical update] I am officially a cancer survivor. The radiation treatments however, were not kind, did not spare adjacent nerves; now paralyzed bi-laterally from the knees down with Radiation Induced Lumbosacral Plexopathy (RILP). Cancer free for 17 months.

If you have corrections or family linkages for a memorial, use FindAGrave's Edit tab. If you use an email, please include "Find A Grave" in the subject line and include the memorial number. Your ID# may be included with the update. See Rantings and Ravings below for additional comments.

I am a documentor, not a hoarder, and will happily transfer any memorial to its descendants. My goal is to help others find their ancestors, deceased family and friends. If you feel I've created too many memorials, reread the previous sentence.

----- Rules of the Road, code of conduct -------
#1: Accuracy. I process up to 500 edit requests per month as relatives discover and contribute to the memorials of deceased friends and family. Updates are welcome and THANK YOU FOR SUBMITTING THEM. Every request is vetted to ensure the memorial's information is as accurate as possible. Your user ID may be included as a reference, making future contact easier in the event conflicting information arises. It does happen. Example, June 2017 had 357 edits with 6 that conflicted with prior information; their resolution required additional research and the contacting of previous contributors.

#2: Supporting documentation. Attaching reference documents to the memorial for family links is highly recommended. It will help your cousins build their own pedigree dossier.

#3: Edit request denials. If your edit request is declined, an explanation will be given. If you have additional information to address the issue, please provide it in a followup request.

#4: Transfers. PLEASE limit transfer requests to your blood-line ancestors. Transfer requests will be granted unless other family members have previously contributed to the same memorial, in essence making it a publicly shared memorial.
