My contributions to this website had been limited to leaving a legacy for family members, so most of my efforts had been dedicated to writing brief biographies for those that I have known or researched. My hope was that those who read these biographies would appreciate the lives of ordinary people as well as those who became famous or infamous. Among my more famous relatives are Mayflower passengers in 1620, Richard Warren (through my paternal grandmother's lineage) and William White (through my maternal grandmother's lineage) and filles du roi Marie (Sel) Guillemet and Anne (Perrault) Blais who pioneered Quebec (through my maternal grandfather's lineage). My maternal grandmother was also descended from Joseph Stone, a son of William and Elvira (Davis) Stone, of Dana, Massachusetts, in the valley now covered by the Quabbin Reservoir.
Curiosity has led me to document a few others not directly related to me or my family.
