Born Albert "X" Kellogg September 7, in Patterson, New Jersey to Almer "X" and Olive Ruth (Wolff)Kellogg. I was one of twins. My twin is Almer "X" Kellogg. We lived in Pequannock, NJ until 1951. By then there were Fay Carlita Kellogg, Almer and Albert. Added after we moved To San Francisco, CA were Gary Bruce and Linda Diane.

Our great grandfather, Lucius Kellogg gave the middle name of "X" to my grandfather, Almer "X" Kellogg and it past to my father to the twins and to our sons. The "X" came from X Biedler of Virginia City, MT. His full name is John Xavier Biedler.

Most of my schooling was in San Francisco, CA. I finished up at Terra Nova High School in Pacifica, CA in 1965. I started working seasonal with the U.S. Forest Service(USFS) in 1967 while still attending junior college. In the Spring of 1974 I enrolled in Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX and graduated in August 1975 with a BS in Forestry and Sociology. Still working seasonally with the USFS, I was picked up permanently in 1977 and retired in 2003 as the District Resource Officer on the Angeles National Forest. Since 2003 I have continued my roll as a logistic chief on a national incident management team, do bookkeeping for my sister,Linda, in her business, do volunteer work with my dog, Bowie and are a Therapy Dog team and associated with Therapy Dogs, Inc. Also, I am Santa Claus during the Christmas season, which I enjoy very much.

Gloria Jean Rodriquez and I were married on October 18, 1975. Gloria is retired from Pacific Bell telephone company. Our son, Jarrod X was born September 11, and is now an Archeologist for the Bureau of Land Management in Needles, CA.
