If you are sending edits, I will not spend hours looking for something that you have already found. Please list your sources on the "Suggest Other Corrections" on the 'Edit' page at the time of your suggestion. All edits will be declined if the proof is not sent with them. Any links provided need to be viewable on _free access sites_, as I cannot afford Ancestry, Newspapers.com, etc., etc.

I do not consider information from Ancestry as a source for edits. Neither are Census records "proof". Family history books have turned out to not be reliable sources, as I found out from a couple of books regarding my family. You need more than that.

Find A Grave's mission is 'graves registration', not a place to list your entire genealogy or every single census, etc. etc. If you have extensive history/photos to post, a genealogy site may be a better option. This is findagrave, not ancestry.

Please do not add photos of documents, obits or newspaper or book articles to my memorials. They often are illegible or contravene copyright and many contain information which proves hurtful to their families.

You do not need a memorial transferred to make corrections, add information or photos. Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) are not required to be transferred.

Please do not move your Burial Unknown or your memorial created in the wrong cemetery into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial, then demand that I delete my 'duplicate'. FAG gives priority to the memorial in the _correct_ cemetery

From Find A Grave guidelines: ...biographical information and obituaries are not to be included in a virtual flower.
