Bio

I have been inactive on Find-a-Grave since February, 2012. On Feb. 2nd I was rushed into emergency surgery with only a 30 percent chance of making it. I was in the hospital for four months, finally getting back home in June. It has been a long recovery. I will be slow catching up, but I promise to answer every message!

I am both a sixth-generation Texan and a sixth-generation descendant of early settlers of the Ozarks. I am now living in the Ozarks with my husband and daughter, both of whom enjoy grave-hunting with me! I have always loved to explore old cemeteries. It makes me feel as though, in a small way, I am close to early settlers and history-makers. To do that and at the same time help others find their ancestors is wonderful!
