Bio

*Ancestry . com does not have permission to my information or uploads prior to their acquisition of Find a Grave on Sept 30, 2013* Not that it does any good, but at least I've said it.

I became interested in genealogy after putting together a small family tree for my college Sociology class (a long time ago!). I was bitten by the bug and haven't stopped searching since.

I've listed some of my brick walls, if you're related or have any ideas on them, leave me a note.

And remember, 100 years from now, someone may be looking for YOU. Please print your digital pictures off and label them!

I don't mind if you use my photos, unless they are on memorials which I personally manage. Please let me know if you would like to use pics from these. If I find a photo album/pictures which are labeled at an antique store, I will do my best to take digital pictures and put them up on FAG. Please consider doing the same and help families to "see" their ancestors.

Brick Walls (some of them):

Christian Miller, b. 1808 Cabarrus Co, NC, moved to Calloway, Co., KY d. 1860 Van Buren Co, AR (now Cleburne). This Miller family traveled with the families of the children of Leonard Kaler and the Hunsucker family from KY to AR in 1849 (and there is some evidence they all lived around Rowan Co, NC before 1810).

William Mathis, b.1750 VA, d.1800 m. Jane B.; children Ann, Daniel, and James. His family traveled to Calloway Co, KY.

John Ferren b. 1820 Fayette Co.,PA d.1878 Richland Co., IL

David Burnham b.abt 1816 TN, lived in Dyer Co, TN m. Sarah UNK. I believe he is related to the Burnhams in Williamson Co, TN, before 1830. Members of the church of Christ.

(David?) Dulaney Glover b.abt 1814 poss. Edgefield, SC, according to family history, but in Goodspeed's it is Ohio. He was definitely in Jefferson Co, TN and Hamilton Co, TN d. 1885 Grant Co, AR. Family history says he married his 2nd cousin, Perlina, in TN. Son was born in Jefferson Co, TN in 1838. His father is NOT Daniel Glover who lived next door to him. I believe Daniel to be the father of Perlina, instead, but I don't have proof.

Mills (Milsey?) Young b. 1815 AL or GA m. Rebecca Eaves

Eli Welch b. 1788 Chesterfield, SC d. bef 1856 m. Jane Blakeney. Believe he is associated with the extended family of "Big John" Welch, but not directly.

Wiley Braden b. 1834 TN m. Elizabeth
