My name is Michael (Mike) Stalnaker and I am disabled due to a fall. As a young child I lived in Polk county, MO and my lifelong ambition was to be a Funeral Director, I worked several years for a funeral home and cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. I love to do genealogy. I also enjoy doing floral arranging since my wife and I owned a floral shop for many years. I also love to do handcrafts of any kind and collecting recipes. I have done 2 cookbooks for my family and friends and am working on a third one. I'm currently on a diet but I miss cooking so much. I think that is the hardest part of dieting. We have no children except the 4 legged kind we have Gus and Spunky they are very much like our children. I would enjoy hearing from any of you that enjoy my hobbies. I'm fairly new at working on my family tree. I enjoy using Ancestry.com and Find a Grave web sites.
The family names I am interested in are Stalnaker, Johnson, Ford, Many of these 3 families are in the Cass Cty., Missouri area. Meyer, Stretz These two families are mainly from Boonville, Cooper Cty, Misouri. Calvird family of St. Clair Cty., Missouri. Any info on these families would be greatly appreciated.
