Bio

Born in Oakman, Alabama, my sisters, cousins and I spent most of our days playing in the cemetery on my grandpa's property. Maybe that's why I've never been "creeped" out by graves. I spent my school years (1st through 12th plus 6 years after) in Gary, Indiana and almost 30 years in Keller, Texas. My husband of 41 years and I moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 2005 to be close to his parents and my sisters. We have a 36 year old son, a 34 year old daughter and a beautiful ten year old granddaughter who delights me with her payback to Mommy and very handsome five year old grandson and of course, our rescue Havanese dog Kimba. My hobbies are genealogy and talking about genealogy. When I'm not doing genealogy, I'm doing volunteer work; doing crafts or something with my granddaughter and grandson; or doing something with friends or family. I'm a retired massage therapist and business manager so you'd think I had a lot of time, but it does get away from us.
