Fallen Graver
Sadly, Ray has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.
Bio
I live in Central Arkansas. I am doing research into the family tree so this site is invaluable to me. In time I may try to step it up and see if I can contribute photos of local cemeteries. For now though I will simply try and dig into those family roots.
If I have posted a memorial for someone that is either kin to you or a really close family friend....don't be afraid to ask for a transfer.
I will decide on an individual basis how to handle the transfer. Even if it does not fall into the tiny niche of the guidelines of Find a Grave.
I know all too well the sting of seeing a fellow volunteer simply chasing numbers and being unwilling to allow the complete control of a memorial of a person they have never met. Either provide a service with a good heart or find a hobby that doesn't hurt grieving relatives or friends of the departed.
If I decide to transfer I will ask if you want to create a NEW one or simply use the groundwork I have laid out.
Thanks....and keep on digging!!
