I am a "baby boomer" and live in North Georgia. I am widowed and have one beautiful daughter, who is my life! I recently came across the Find A Grave website and immediately became addicted to it. I think that searching through cemeteries creates a great sense of history. Unfortunately, I haven't been back to the cemetery where my husband is buried (in Illinois) since his funeral in 1986. However, I was able to set up a memorial page for him and some very kind people went to the cemetery and took pictures of his grave marker and the cemetery itself. These wonderful individuals even posted them on his tribute page for me! If you get a chance, please stop by the William C. Eichorst, Jr tribute. My husband's parents William C. Eichorst, Sr and Catherine Murphy Eichorst now have online memorials on FAG, as do my parents Homer W. Sluder and Ruth F. Sluder and brother, Randall Lee Sluder. Thank you and God bless.
