Bio
The Dittberner family moved from the Oconomowoc, Wisconsin area. Oconomowoc is about 30 miles west of Milwaukee. My great grandfather, August Dittberner had three brothers that moved to the south central part of Minnesota. Albert, Herman, and Charles. Albert continued all the way to Washington state and Herman and Charles stayed around Mankato, Blue Earth, and Waseca counties. They were all farmers.
Wilhelmine Dittberner married Henry Bentz and they farmed in the Milton area there whole lives. There family was married to the Malvitzs, Zanzingers, Lipkes, Dallmans, and Jennings.
