NOTE: Formerly lived in Barrhead, Alberta, Canada but moved to Athabasca, AB August 2013.My father was very concerned that all cemetery records be kept so when he passed in 1999 I decided to take on the process of adding as many biographies as I could in the cemeteries around my hometown of Barrhead Alberta and now Athabasca plus any cemeteries between the two. I will take any photo requested as well as upload them as I take them but only when I have time. If the photo request is a rush, please indicate that. Copyright info: You have my permission to use my photos in your family tree for personal use. Families that I'm researching include ancestors of Yuill, Clark, Pettit and Talbot. Please make edit suggestions if you are certain it is correct. A few things I've learned...Birth, Marriage and Death certificates are good for dates, location and parents but many spelling mistakes may have been made by the transcribers. Info from headstones is also advisory too as headstones are sometimes put in place decades later by descendants and errors are made.
I will transfer ownership of a memorial to you if they fall within the Find A Grave guidelines unless they are part of my own genealogical research. Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Keeping families together (parents, children, siblings) is of great personal importance to me as I dislike anyone being forgotten. History is very important and everyone deserves their rightful place in it.
