Bio

I was born in Dallas, TX on 11/14/1950, the son of Bonnie Kate Holcomb and Wilford Melton Windle. I enjoy Genealogy. I did my Windle side of the family and found out that the Windle's are one of the first families of Texas. I am a past president of the Sons of the Republic of Texas, Chapter 8, here in Dallas. I am retired.

I have updated a number of members of my mother's Holcomb(e) side of the family as well as doing a family Tree.

I have done a genealogy of my great grandmother Alice Nora Richardson's Pendleton side of the family going back to thirteenth century England and received my certification from NSSAR (National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution) for my direct lineage to Benjamin Pendleton, my 4th great grandfather.

I am currently working on my grandmother Windle's Richardson side of the family which goes back to thirteenth century Wales. I am working on my supplemental NSSAR application using direct lineage to Col. James Richardson my 5th great grandfather.
