Among my progenitors is my fourth great-grandfather William Bloom (1752-1828) who was one of the earliest pioneer settlers of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, where I was born. His posterity now numbers in the tens of thousands and their families, and far-reaching influence, have spread to every corner of the country.
