I'm a software tester for Microsoft, working on the Expression suite of tools for designers. My wife and I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota. Both of my grandmothers and my father have spent a lot of time working on our history and I'm currently working on getting a handle on all the information they've gathered over the years, which is proving to be a monumental task in many ways. Part of this task is scanning the many paper records my grandmothers have accumulated and getting everything entered into a single location. In recent generations, I've got Tinkham, Carlson, Graves, Campbell, Smith, Henry, Ouderkirk, and Nichols lines coming together. In addition to genealogy, I also enjoy baking, logic puzzles, board games (particularly the ones considered Euro games), photography and reading.
