Sadly, Jerry Lee has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find A Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find A Grave.
I live in Wichita, Kansas, retired finally, but stay involved in many different hobbies. One, in particular, is photography that I developed an interest for back in the mid 50's.
For most of my life, until about 15-years ago, I was an avid hunter and fisherman but I gave up hunting after strangely asking myself why I wanted to end the life of so many species of beautiful animals, so I then took up wildlife photography. In that pursuit, while back deep in the woods, I'd occasionally find single graves or abandoned cemeteries and would read some of the markers which had intriguing histories of their own. Now my health is such that I can't roam the woods or mountains any longer and have to settle for subject's which are easily accessible. Headstones, I have discovered, don't run and hide like those wild forest critters do, hence this new hobby I've undertaken now.
Also hope that I may do someone some good with my camera's in filming the final resting place of their loved one or friend.
