I was born in Sacramento, California in 1954. After high school in Sacramento, I went to Cosumnes River College and U.C. Davis with a B.A. in Political Science, 1975. I was married in November 1976 to Robin. We have two daughters. In 1979 we moved to Boise, Idaho and I worked in the Idaho Energy Office. In 1982 we moved to Reno and I worked for Washoe County as an Energy Manager and Truckee Meadows Community College as Director of Facilities. I also took many Master's level courses in Historic Preservation at the University of Nevada, Reno.
We left Reno in 1997 and lived in Walnut Creek, CA for 13 years. I worked in San Francisco for the Judicial Council of California, Administrative Office of the Courts. I retired as the Regional Property Manager for State Court Buildings in the Bay Area/Northern Coastal Region in August 2010. We now live in League City, TX and I volunteer for local genealogical and historical societies.
