Inspired by Alex Haley and his book "ROOTS", I started my family research in 1977 and have been at it off and on, the past 30 yrs. A resource such as 'Find a Grave' would have been a boon to me in my quest. I have walked many cemeteries and perused countless library obituary records. At least now, perhaps, I can help a beginner or a vet in their search for that missing link.
