My name is Jack Wilson. I am 59 years old, married and live just north of Lafayette, Indiana, near the small town of Buck Creek. Most of my family lines have been in this country 100's of years. I am primarily Irish, with some German & Native American.

Some of the names I am researching are:
Wilson, Saubert, Gould, Cohee, Muston, Dye, Harshman, Johns, Dowden and Schroeder.

Many of my family reached Indiana via Delaware, Virginia, Carolina and Ohio. I have family members who have served in all the wars of this country starting with the American Revolution.

I have been researching my family history for many years. I have a lot of pictures and histories.

I am in the process of compiling information in an effort to write a book or series of books on my family history. I intend for the book(s) to be interesting to read & not just a list of names.

I have two sons. The oldest is 27 years old & an editor for a small newspaper in southern Indiana. The youngest is 23 years old & serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq.
