On July 20th, 2019 I had gotten a compound fracture of the radius bone in my wrist. It may be til Nov. 2019 before I can get back. Thank you for understanding...My family has been working on Armistead/Brockwell/Berenty /Fortich/Adcock/Blackstock/Mitski/Coats/Randall/Palmer/Turner/Brown/West/Miklos(just to name a few) surnames for over 40 years now. My cousin Joan Armistead-Dean, Carol Armistead, and Doug Blanks, they have been a very important part in researching, and has helped out a lot!!My family has worked many years gathering proof via wills, cenus record images, deeds, compiled Military service records(Muster Rolls), land bounty claims/applications, widow pensions, Mortality Schedule, newspaper articles, birth/death/burial records, to name just a few.My gggrandfather is Martin Crawford Armistead, ggrandfather is Jesse Jackson Armistead, grandfather is Sampson Dewey Armistead line. If you would like more information on kinship, please email me. My specialty being a calligrapher, is transcribing old hand writing into reader friendly eyes. I have found many mistakes online when people try to transcribe.I welcome anyone who wants to add photos to these memorials, to please message me first. I want to thank the wonderful volunteers who walk through the cemeteries, documenting, transcribing, and taking the tombstone photos. NOTE: Tombstone photos are excluded and can be posted.Thank you, & God Bless!JudiPS. Please excuse the late responses, I am so very sorry, this new layout of Find A Grave is so very confusing.
