I am a retired costume designer and former public school art teacher. I was born and raised in Texas, but have lived in ND for the past 37 years. My husband was from Buffalo, NY. He died on 12 Dec 2016 of congestive heart failure. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Grand Forks, ND.

My hobbies are gardening, model railroading, and genealogy. My genealogy research led me to this website. I love meeting my unknown relatives and exchanging information, photos and documents.

I agreed to take photos of tombstones in the Grand Forks and East Grand Forks, MN cemeteries. However, I broke my femur in five places and have had a two year recovery. I have progressed from wheel chair, to walker and now to cane. I am not sure I can navigate walking around the cemetery. Our plots are next to a paved road in the cemetery so I can get to my husband's grave with no problem.
