Find a Grave ID

I want to thank all the contributors to Find-A-Grave. This site has grown phenomenally since I first discovered it and joined. I use it frequently in my research, and I'm especially grateful for those who have posted burial data and family biographies that have served as a crucial piece of information that has helped scoot me a little further out on my tree branches. Genealogy has managed to remain a beloved and rewarding obsession. I started out knowing a handful of my ancestors but now could populate a good-sized town with them. They make me happy. Many of them came to America when it was an early colony. Many started their lives in Maryland and then picked up their families around the time of the Revolutionary War and eventually found their way to East Tennessee. My roots are southern from the eighteenth century to the present. I also research my husband's ancestry, which has deep French Canadian roots on his paternal side and German-American ones on his maternal. Uncovering and unravelling our ancestry continues to reward us both. I hope if you've landed on any pages I've contributed to that you'll find something to connect to and that you'll help me correct any errors I've made in the stress or pain of ongoing family and personal health problems. Contact me via the comment box on a person's editing page with your additions, corrections, or questions.
