Methodist Episcopal Historical Cemetery is located behind the 1789 Commack Methodist Church Chapel, I have photos of all standing gravestones, plus 1948 list of those interred there, none since 1958. Grave sites are closed to new interments.
The majority of the headstones in this graveyard are weather-beaten, broken and too faded to read the inscriptions, some have fallen are grown over. On each Memorial Day, American flags are placed by the BSA at the headstones of our Revolutionary War members
