I am from Alabama and have been interested in cemeteries and family history since I was a child, and have always loved to stroll through them and see the different memorials and epitaphs people have chosen to remember their loved ones with. I think "everybody is somebody" and all have a story to tell, and think that Find a Grave is a great way for people to share their loved ones stories and creat a memorial for them. Although some people think we are morbid, my sister Margaret and I share the same interest in cemeteries and have started researching the cemeteries where we have family members and posting our research here. If I have entered incorrect information, if you have something to add about someone posted, or if I have entered someone you do not want on this site, please let me know and I will either correct, add to, or delete them. We have tried to make our research as thorough as possible, and so have added as many names and dates as possible, and think this is a great way to preserve history for future generations.
NOTE:I will be glad to work with you as much as possible to transfer any of your relatives over to you that I may have listed. However, the ALvis`s and Burks`s that I have listed are my direct descendants and they are not up for transfer, no matter if they have a bio written or not. Thank you for understanding!
