My wife and I drove commercial truck for almost a decade, we would see cemeteries all over the country that were old and out of the way and it got me to thinking about how many people who may never get to see their relatives graves because of distance, or they may not be able to find the cemetery. That is what got me interested in being a volunteer photographer for Find A Grave.
I have been interested in genealogy since the late 1990's. I know that some people may never get to see their relatives graves because they have moved away. I hope that I will be able to add some graves that someone some where may be looking for.
I retired from the Army in 2008 and now have the time to seek out cemeteries in my local area for those who are looking for relatives within a reasonable distance.
