Bio

I have been researching Family History for 50+ years. Most of my and my wife's family hail from Ohio, although soon to be added research will show many Ports of Call. I tend to carry my accuracy to fault and usually won't agree to list any information until I have firm visual sighting or can document at least twice from reliable sources.
The surnames that comprise most of our Family Tree are Piatt, Harmon, Hayes, Lane, Hayslip, Howell, Palmer, Gilliland,Young,Ours, Black, and Waddell from my side. From my wife's side, Divine, Barber, Beh, Leonard, Sheehan, Pence, Huddleston, Shideler, Penn, and Iiams. Additional surnames included in my research; Pyatt, Warner, Roush, Martin, Woode, Bauer, Rauschenberger, Mowery, Varner, Swihart, Ward, Baily, Niswonger, Troutwine, Geier, Coffman, Beard, Lees, Jones, Lyons, Terrill, Oplinger, and Bond.
I have been associated in the Monument Industry since 2000 and have earned the designation of Certified Memorialist by the Monument Builders of North America. I have studied and done talks on memorialization in the United States since it's inception and have access to great deal of information on Man's need to memorialize.
