I started this hobby when I visited grave sites in the Gold Country of Northern CA. I was fascinated with the workmanship of the head stones and the poetic prose left by the survivors. This lead me to the California Mission system and their cemeteries and eventually to this site. I'm in the process of taking photos and gathering information of my ancestors and adding them to this site. I'm sure it will be a labor of love.
