I have always been more interested in the ‘What was' as opposed to the ‘What will be'. From an early age I've been fascinated with cemeteries and would often go on a cemetery safari with my dad at the drop of a hat. Most of all (and probably like most) I have the greatest interest in those that swung in the branches of my family tree before me.
Cemeteries are like libraries for those that were, unfortunately other then when they entered and exited, little is known about them outside of the family and then only for a short time, as those that knew them themselves disappear from our lives. I find this way too sad. There is a lifetime of information in the dashes and the spaces between the dates of birth and death. We need to recount and remember them no matter how short or long they occupied our lives.
Hoping to capture what I can about my family and also adding to this site the resting-places of those I do not know, so that perhaps you may find a piece of your past.
