I've created several memorials for individuals related to me, as well as others both known and unknown to me, as a way to help people locate the graves of friends or family. I do not do it to track genealogical data for anyone other than those related to me. Unless I have done genealogical research on an individual and have documentation for it, I use the information made available on the memorial stones. If a memorial stone does not include a birth or death date, the middle name or initial of the deceased, their parents or children, or any other type of information, I obviously do not include it - and I have no intention of adding it for you, unless you send me a copy of the individual's published obituary. Should you want me to add or change anything on a memorial and are not polite about it, you can absolutely forget about receiving any courtesy from me. If you want me to place my information in a memorial created after mine by someone else, I will not do it. In fact, as I recently did due to the rudeness of an Australian who belittled me for mistakes in an obituary written by someone else and a couple of rude Americans, I may go so far as to delete the memorial.
