Hi. I'm orginally from the South Texas area. I call Banquete, TX home. My dad is buried at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi Texas. At the time of his death, my dad, Rube Ira Rose, Jr. (Jr. Rose), was working at Gillring Oil Company. We lived at the Gillring Plant Camp. When my dad passed away and after the summer months, my mother moved us to Oklahoma where we've been ever since. I have four sibling, all went to school in Banquete. Jolene, Rubetta, Dink and Winona.
Our mother, Corene "Roberts" Rose, remarried, Jerry Miller, a couple of years after moving to OK. Mother passed away August 24, 1986. And is buried in Dixie Cemetery, Stephens County, OK.
